Nuthan Prasanna is an Entrepreneur, Researcher, Systems Architect, Strategist, Autodidact and Polymath. He is the founder, CEO and Chief Systems Architect at Dvizira. Previously, he was one of the founding members of Bellatrix Aerospace.
In his first year of engineering, he joined a team and worked on an advanced electric propulsion system for satellites. The team later co-founded Bellatrix Aerospace to commercialise the project in 2015. They demonstrated Bhārata’s first functional electric propulsion system to ISRO and bagged a technology development order. The startup also received the first-ever “National Startup Award”, from the Honourable President of Bhārata in 2017.
In 2016, he co-founded Dvizira to develop futuristic and disruptive solutions for the global military challenges with a goal to add new capabilities in warfighting. His startup is currently working with some of the elite military and security units. Dvizira was one of the top defence technology startups in Bhārata chosen by the Ministry of Defence to showcase its prototypes before the Honourable Prime Minister of Bhārata, during Defence Expo 2020 and 2022. He was also part of the NSG international seminar to discuss the future challenges and technological solutions. He led Dvizira to win national level challenges to develop AI based systems for the military. He represented Dvizira to receive felicitation by the Honourable Defence Minister of Bhārata. Dvizira has been listed as one of the Emerging 100 Startups Globally by TiE Global. It was also selected as a Top 75 Innovative Technology start-ups across Bhārata, by Niti Aayog. It is listed as a top key player in the Global Military AI Market, by a market research company based in USA.
Nuthan has worked on multiple cross domain and interdisciplinary, systems level projects. He has pursued courses on Neuroscience, AI, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy and few more.
Some of his interests are Military Science, National Security, Geopolitics, Emerging Technologies, Theoretical Physics, Vedic Science and Spirituality. He has received two awards in technology development, two in academics and one for social leadership.
